Word: “Ignorance” monopolizes conversations today. Why?

Commentary:

In so many conversations today whether in person or on social media the subject of “ignorance or stupid” creeps in.  The usual response is ” there’s no cure for stupid!”  This may true on some level but God’s Word has a lot to say about.  So, I will post His Word on the matter and let folks resolve the answer for themselves. We serve and Praise The only one True God, the Father of our Savior, Jesus Christ, guided by His Holy Spirit and let us say: AMEN!


 

Ephesians 4:18 – Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

Hosea 4:6 – My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Proverbs 22:3 – A prudent [man] foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.

Acts 17:30 – And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

Proverbs 19:2 – Also, [that] the soul [be] without knowledge, [it is] not good; and he that hasteth with [his] feet sinneth.

James 1:5 – If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all [men] liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Proverbs 8:5 – O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.

1 John 4:1 – Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Matthew 7:21-23 – Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.   (Read More…)
